Whats this thing with the new mini having lights fixed to the body of the car??

What aws the old one like??

Im talking about the older Gen 1 BMW mini and the new Gen 2 Mini

old one the headlights were part of the bonnet so lifted up with the bonnet. new ones dont

i see, where the lighst on the old one hard wired or did they have some sort of plug?? to compleat a circit when the bonnet was down??

The old wiring was in the bonnet, not on a plug.

the new ones are seperate, keeps costs down, and makes the bonnet easier to open.
