What's the scariest film you have seen?

I'm more scared of things you can't see in a film but you know it's coming sort of thing

The Grudge and The Ring I found quite bad. Exorcism of Emily Rose also had some jumpy bits in it.

Can't really think of any, theres a few that have made me jump etc but most of the gorey films are just too unbelievable. Saw isn't believable because of how he gets his victims, espcecially as hes weak and dieing from cancer. The situations the people are in is quite scary if you imagine yourself there. The Grudge made me jump because everything was so unexpected.

yes Blair Witch Project got me also, not sure why. As Marc said think it was because I was imagining myself stuck in a forest with no clue how to get out

Blair Witch for me, there's no gore in it and very very few scary images - but it's all in the mind and it makes you wonder what would you do if you were in the same situation etc etc and that's what makes it so scary and such a great film imo

I didn't like the bit at the end where the girl goes down into the basement of that house with the camera. She sees the bloke standing in the corner then screams, then gets smacked over the head

If you remember the story then you'll know why the guy was stood in the corner

Blair Witch Project is indeed a scary scary film if you put yourself in their situation.

Another scary film I saw a couple of years ago was one that Marv posted on here about a UFO landing, its filmed in a simular way to Blair Witch and its scary as fap.

Also The Descent is very scary.

The Grudge.. i hate it
The Descent was pretty bad too...

our TV at home has quite a dark picture so Descent was crazy
when i was young.. Chucky, IT and Lost Boys scared the hell outta me
