Got a job interview today, it is internal so the people i work with know! It was supposed to be at 9am but they decided it would be better to have it at 2pm so i have to wear i tie for longer! I really do prefer things like this first thing so you dont have pretty much all day to worry and overthink things!
anyway.... to be honest i just have been trying to think about the usual questions and prepare answeres, such as strength and weaknesses, examples of decision making etc etc
Anyone get any other good tips or possible questions, it's a job in commercial finance within a medium to large company with a big HR department, so i will get asked standard HR questions.
sorry is this is a load S H I T, i am just a bit nervous!

speak confidently, smile alot. also if they try and focus on a negative, turn it around, make them ask you questions on what you feel comfortable on.

they wont ask you that if they are a decent company, if they do, make it something shit, or turn it into a joke (if u get on well with them) and spin it to something else you were just on about. Like "what is your weakness?" - "my wife/gf tells me im a rubbish cook -chortle chortle- blah blah im good at this and this" ... if u know what i mean?

In other interviews i have attended at this company, i have been asked what do i concider to be my strengths and weaknesses, i normaly try to make the weaknesses either irrelivant to role, or something that the role will help me over come? I have just got a friend to give me a list of the potential questions that our HR dept sent to the senior managers!!
exampples are:
"What frustrates you, gets you fired up???"
"in you current position what have you done differently form your predecessors"
the list seems endless, there are a lot worse questions but they possibly are not relevent to a finance position!!!
wish i had not read these questions as i feel worse now!!!!
