Can you user a normal electric sander then go over it with the wet dry sand paper ????

lol no dont use an electric sander, way to rough, leave it furry. sand it with red scotchbrite or 320 grit sadpaper

I'd say it depends on wot part ur doin and wot finish u want, iv found a sanding bit on a dremel works well 2 get rid of raised bits on the plastic like that orange peel crap. Dont bother with a big electric sander tho unless the plastics firmly clamped, or it vibrates like mad and u get nothin sanded, ur hands just feel kinda numb after.

depends what your sanding as said.
easiest way is
- scotch the surface
- Plastic Primer (2 coats)
- High Build Primer (2-3 coats)
this will give you a smooth surface......
