Going tomorrow, bit gutted I won't get to see kuyt play but still looking forward to it

Tis a game we should win, and our home form has been quite good (just as well) hopefully see a few goals, gerrard is well overdue.

Lucas niell may let a few past him too

Kuyt maybe playing!! Has responded well to treatment.

Whats the odds on Bellamy scoring his first prem goal against his old club?!!

Lucas Neill getting sent off is more likely

C'mon the reds

I read that in the post this morning but i'm not convinced.

I hope bellamy scores, needs a kickstart regardless of who it's against. Bet he has a bust up after the match though with a blakcburn official or something

We will be victorious only by 1 maybe 2 though.

Probably rest him, altho he loves Crouchy in Europe so could rest Kuyt midweek should he play tomorrow.

Hope its more than 1 or 2 as thats how many we seem to be conceeding bar the spurs game at the moment.

Their players and fans are bound to wind him up knowing what hes like

Should be a good game

Yeah hopefully.

I think crouch will get a game no matter what as he wouldn't risk playing kuyt for 90 mins if he may be injured. Can't see robbie getting a game again now

Wonder how he's training?

Am going to a few pubs before the game should be a laugh

I'd imagine he'd rest Crouch and Kuyt and start Bellamy and Fowler.

Sissoko is meant to be out so probably a midfield of Gonzalez/Garcia/Zendan, Alonso, Gerrard, Pennant.

Will probably keep Agger out seems he has broken his hand or something and stick with Hyypia and Carra.

Yeah, hopefully he'll give Gonzalez a start but not 100% sure as he's quite attacking and if crouch isn't starting then probably won't use width as much as balls seem to come through middle a bit more for bellamy and folwer (imo anyway).

Be interesting anyway, you going cosmo?

Hopefully NEVER. i hate the bloke, always looks like he couldn't give a crap. No body strength and refuses to run at anyone since he joined from Leeds.

Hope Gonzalez starts, hes so direct, loves running at people. Fowler will need those crosses and you need the width to pull teams apart.

Hope it is Pennant and Gonzalez as Cosmo says, love the width we play with when they do, although think the Charity Shield was the only game we have

Just heard Fowler may not start as has a back injury, hopefully he will though. Kuyt is def being rested.

I dont mind Kewell. The first 6 months we had him he was on another level, then the last few months of last season before the injury he was top class again...its just inbetween when he has been injured and half fit that he has been shite!

Yeah I'll be there Tom. Upper Centenary, Row 17 seat 101 (on half way line!), you?

3-0 Alonso free-kick first goal.

Some is due a tonking by us as we've created loads of chances but just not putting them away.

another game we controlled but failed to score when we had the chances.

Will see where we are by xmas before I give a verdict on where we'll finish, got some hard away games coming up in the next few weeks though.

First half was a shocker and there goal came from nowhere.

I have a very sore throat due to robbie savage he needs a good kicking

I was on the back row in the centeneray near the kop end though, bad seats

Noit much of an atmosphere either apart from around that spell wheen we scored.

Davross the spell around when we scored we could've had 2 more.

We wern't convincing though it was probably a fair result, although savage should've gone at the end the tart.

Cosmo - I was sober so would've probably looked a bit normall'er'

agree with both of you, I'm just saying you were lucky not to concede it right at the end that's all.

What did Savage do? I missed that on MOTD...
