Bit of a birthday treat for himself
BUT...
He's been told by the boss (my mother) that he can't spend a lot
So were lookings at around 3.5K or under, I'm sure he'd stretch to about 4K if needs be
Wont get a real one for that money, looking at the replica kit cars etc
Been looking on pistonheads & on ebay so far, any other good sites to have a gander at?
Ebay isn't ideal when you're wanting to look at whats available for that price, Pistonheads seems to be the higher end of the market
I'm helping him look for one as it'll mean I get to drive it

Matt, when i had a look on Pistonheads a few weeks ago, there were some decent looking ones for 4k or under.
you could build a new one for 4k, if it was a cheapy.

get a ginetta, made in sheffield, loads of models and offer a good alternative to the usual caterham rip offs.
I also like the sylve stylus amoung others, saw a very nice one for £3.800 a while ago on the bay

My mate is selling a Caterham that he races, though think he will prolly want more than 4k.
Tell your dad to make his budget a bit bigger!
