Looks alright that. The Trophy bits make a lot of difference to the looks.

Bit of a random time of year to buy a convertible though

out of interest how long did it take you to do the head? m8 did one and said it was a right pig to do, good buy tho quite smart looking

My Dads got an MG ZS, built quality is cack but you can't argue with its A-B performance, very capapble car.

i can do k series heads in around 4 hours including getting it skimmed! they are a peice of piss

i got some thing for a bit of everyday fun

calibra got too serious for every day
focus diesel is excellent every day but boring
corsa has no engine
and the mg was cheap and looked fun

yea they are a bit tight but no biggie

can do pistons a liners on a k series in about 6hours

True,

But if its the same lump as the elise, you maybe looking at dong it twice a year...does it carry the same hardened crank?

A mate of mine had oil starvation in an exige and walked away with a 3.5k bill.

the head problems are because of the dowels used to locate the head are plastic from the factory and these warp and let the head move

i beleive it dose have the hardened crank as mine is a 160bhp vvc
