newest bike

oldest bike

hoping to get back on the road after a 4 year break - been looking at a Ducati 750SS

I know there are more modern, quicker bikes about - but I've got a soft spot for it

no mopeds were the dodgy little half pushbike/half scooter things - you have to pedal them to get them going; There were thousands of them in Tunisia - even saw the equivalent of our scrapyards full of them being broken for parts

Yes. Very, very good bike. Not the fastest thing on two wheels, but a good riders bike. They handle very well, light and nimble.

i had a dabble with the older nc24 when i was younger and loved the noise but the nc30 is meant to be a totally differnt machine handleing wise but where as the old nc24 seemed to be solid built this one has done 40thou miles but doesnt rev right anymore (stutters all the way to 9thou rpm so im puting it down to the carbs) and the frame and wheels are basically needing a full strip down rebuild up so made me wonder if the build quality was a bit lacking?
