yes deluxe and core, both are the same spec apart fr the size of the hard drive but its cheaper to buy the deluxe then the core and upgrade all the bits to deluxe

Yeh I was prepared to wait for a while but im getting bored of my PS2 now and PS3 isnt available till March. I also doubt it will be released on time.

get a 360, its more powerful, slightly. And only one core out of 3 of the chip has been used by games people so far so plenty of room for improvement

Sony has bought the entire back catalouge of MGM DVD's, they will no longer be making them in DVD format in a few years, only Blu Ray

ive been looking at ps3 gameplay footage and its no more impressive than the 360, so i would get yourself a 360 premium and save yourself 200 quid. plus by the end of the year there will be some great games out for the 360 and some games and the consoles will be dropping in price aswell

go for a 360 Jamie, you know it makes sense.

Agreed with people here also, for the extra £70 or £80 you may as well get the Premium version. You get the hard drive (which you will need to save games), a headset so you can shout at people online, a wireless controller instead of a wired one and the HD Component cable which you will need to play your games in High Definition

I am in the same predicament!

Just purchased my new 26" samsung HD TV and I was waiting for the PS3 too. I think I am just going to get the 360 for now and get the PS3 too. can compare them then

at least the 360 allows people to build up the extras they want/need whereas sony you have to pay for stuff you might not even want.

To give you an idea of the cost of items if you were to purchase them seperately...

Hard Disk is £70
Wireless controller is £10 extra
HD cable is around £30/40
Headset is £20 i believe.

So for £70 extra, it's well worth it

The premium is better than the core for all the bits.

And topshot you are 100% correct about how europe get shat on by sony. I have had a subciption to games master for this year and in the american and jap ton ten games sales there is no sony games for months.

America choose pc and japan choose nintendo sony should release it here first and america nad japan last
