Hi Peeps,

Need your help
How would i find out what has been done to my car lol sounds daft but

Heres the story

I beat this chap in a 1.4 8v SRI (just like mine but without the kit) from stand still about 3-4 times and when i say beat him i mean constant pulling away (all legal ofc) lol

Well the chap in the 1.4 sri went and had a power boost valve, a viper induction kit, ecotek valve, and something else done something else, all cost him just over £500

He came back to me and wanted to test it against mine, and i beat him odviously not as much but i still easyly beat him again

Btw mines only got a zorst and filter of what im aware of lol (he also has a zorst) and mines a 1.4 8v sri too, so im guessing the guy who had it before me has done some serious tuning to it, like cams or something ??? how can i find out !

some peeps has told me to get it on the rollers but that wont tell me what has been done to the engine will it ?

manufacturers tolerances, fact of life with mass produced cars some will have more power than others.

the renault megane coupe for instance, some rolled off the line with 135bhp some with up to 160bhp.

You probably have a good one, he has a bad one
