I use Sony Sound Forge.

You could just ask the mp3s nicely though...

i want to get a message tone onto my phone, but it keeps saying file corrupted when i go 2 play it on my nokia. Im guessing its coz its a wav file and tones on my fone at the mo are mp3.

Could be that. Are you sure the file isn't corrupted though? Does it play ok on the PC?

ok, so is there a way of cutting a file down? eg if you hav a song, and only want the chorus as a message (to save space)

Well, I'm not sure what sound forge is going for nowadays, but you can load a track, delete anything you dont want, add fades and all sorts of effects, then export as pretty much anything else.
