Im no expert I just know that if you have subs in the boot and 6x9's in the parcel shelf they interfere with the sound that each other produce. i.e bass not as punchy and 6*9 have poor quality sound or are drowned out.
The best set up is usually subs in the back and amped up good front speakers.

Will sound okay if you are standing with boot open at shows etc. otherwise it will be poo and a waste of money and effort

i'll post some info up about what i had made for my corsa i just wanted suttle but upgraded...ended up being alittle more

its all made to fit in a corsa mate, *the box etc* the headunit alone is £280 or round about there now i think. i have a receipt for £1200 for just the speaker's subs etc which are now 12 month old
£550 and it's all yours.

ive had front door comps amp'd and sub before got 6x9's amp'd and sub now with no door spekers 6x9's and sub sound so much better and clear id say 6x9's all day long
