my Corsa

Just about died coming home from work... coming over a short hill to see a lorry on the other side indicting to turn into a very narrow delivery entrance... he was stopped and thought he was letting me past because lorry back ends tend to swing out... so I am on the main road doing 60 get about 2 cars away and I see this back end come onto my end, cant brake its pissing down so have to swing onto the grass, due to heavy rain over the past two days it was more a marsh, ended up spinning right into the middle of the main road, I was 100% in my head I was dead just waiting for the smash as the road is a wood lorry and bus root on constant use

When I stopped dead it was the most spooky silence I have ever had in my life nothing on both sides

Car is in the garage with a fella I know… steering wheel was vibrating like hell and I think I have a 50pence speedline from clipping the road edge

Where do I stand with the lorry driver ?… I know you have to kinda give them space due to the wide load... but I had no chance of slowing

I remember going round a corner at around 60 on the way to Brid when a car stopped dead to turn right, that was a scary moment!

If you force another vehicle to take avoiding action then you can get done for careless driving.

Lorry driver didn't have due care and attention for other road users.
