http://www.mytyres.co.uk

Are they a reliable company? I need two new front tyres and was quoted

2 x Avon ZV3's at £69.06 per tyre (fitted)

or

2 x Uniroyal RS1 at £69.10 per tyre (fitted)

locally but I've found them on the web for cheaper so is it worth ordering them this way and having them sent to me and then paying them to fit them?

Also what are peoples thoughts on the ZV3 and RS1? Which one is best .etc

Rainsports.

Avons are down at the bottom of the pile, with Toyo IMO.

I destroyed a pair of Avons in 3 months with a standard 1.4

Mytyres are pretty good, place i used to work for dealt with them a lot, much better than black circles...

I've got avon zz3, handle well and they've got a good tread patten. I paid £140 for 2 fitted locally if that helps at all.

Robin why you say Toyo at bottom of pile? Only heard good stuff and my bro in law who runs a garage swears by them and has no complaints when he sells them...

from my experience, Toyos wear out quiclky, dont grip well in the wet, and aren't even particularly good in the dry (from when i had them on my car)

and, when i was working as a tyre fitter, we had a lot fo complaints about manufacturing faults with them (they often used to bulge when fitting etc)

its mainly because of my personal experience with them on my car though.

but its all down to personal preference really.

anyway, i'd definitely go for the rainsports over the avons, and i guess a good few people would agree with me on here...

Very good prices on some tyres but they tend to sell out fast and you have keep checking each day. Used them loads of times without problems....

Very reliable and I have personally not had any trouble with them. You get emails with predicted delivery times etc.

Would recommend them highly

Ive bought a full set of Rainsport 1's from Rochford Tyres online. £244 including delivery for 205/40/R17.

Ordered on Monday and they came today, very impressed with the service, cheapest price online as well.
