Has he even renewed the contract yet?
I thought Calderon said that, and one of Beckham's people denied it all?

I personally think R Madrid are trying to make him quit, as his wage demands are too high, and thus being the reason he's benched a lot, to make him exit before his contract ends, so they get something for him.

I think he will play for Madrid this season and two more, then he will play in the American MLS league or what ever, then set up more youth/training schools for young kids, or something along them lines, I think he has one in LA and London at the moment.

I heard he was being linked to a move to the US.

I dont know how much truth is behind it but I would say this is the best move for him now. He has no future playing for England, that has been made fairly certain by Maclaren, so that move would push his image right up there and guarantee his future earning power for years and years.

he would never come back to england and too rite after the amount of greif the papers give him, its disgraceful.
hope he goes to america and sets up a football training scheme, he looks set to base his life on this after football and hopefully romeo and brooklyn become like hsi dad.

His demands could be in excess of 200k a week and he'd still be earning Real money. They own a portion of his image rights remember that they acquired as part of the deal that took him there in the 1st place and when you include shirt sales he has earned and will earn them money in the future.
