I've read through the old watch thread that was on here, didn't give me personally much help
Most of it was Jules creaming over lots of unpronouncable watch companies & him chatting up some french bloke
Right, first of all I don't plan to spend a fortune. Is there really any need to spend £500 on a watch?
Some of you probably might think differant but I can't justify it
My main problem is that my wrists are really skinny so these big faced watches are a no no!
That sort of rules out the "good" watches such as Tag Huer as they all seem to be massive. Not really keen on loads of dials on it though to be honest
Looked at some of the ones that were posted in that thread & there were some nice ones
Joes
Quite simple looking, but I think it looks quite nice. Don't know how big it is though
Seen that online for £90 + £1.95 p&p
Dave17's

Had a wander around town earlier & saw this in a few of the shops, very nice looking Tried it on & its no too big for my wrist, just about right in fact (well, maybe slightly too big but I could live with it)
Just having a snoop around the web now to see if its any cheaper than in the shops (£275 in all the shops in Doncaster)
Any good websites to look for one on? Also if you've got any suggestions please post them up (& ideally a link to what it looks like)

I go clothes shopping twice maybe 3 times a year. Each time I go once, see whats about then order vouchers through work ( ) to spend in the appropriate shops. I currently have £1400 worth of vouchers saved up. Then go back and spend them. That way I dont end up with £300 worth of House of Fraser vouchers sitting here doing nothing when I could have used them for part of my holiday instead.

now that makes more sense! A pre-shoping spree shop just sounded like something you'd see on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Impulse buying is a bad thing!
I sometimes go out without my card to avoid it

Ive gotta say, if you have skinny wrists you are looking at watches with the rectangle facing the wrong way.
One of the best 'wrong way around' watches i know of is made by Nixon...its on my shopping list in the future...to me a truly classy watch, and very individual

That one in white. suits me perfectly and its lasted well. had it almost 2 years now and its lasted all sorts of nights out including a water party in Magaluf I might buy another one in a different colour for 'best' and keep what I have for every day use.

Jules that one looks a bit..umm... strange
It needs to be sort of dressy
Is a rectangle one the wrong type then? Not seen many nice small faced ones though

Leeds or Harrogate are closest to me
Still miles away though
Might consider on of those as an impulse buy next time I go to Leeds
Anyway, back to a dressy watch. Any more suggestions?
