Two opitions, the latter is more expensive in the long run but worth it.

Body work was going to be a full colour code, re-ferbd wheels and a BB bonnet.

In two minds about both really

The rents just had a go at me me for wanting to do ether, let alone doing both

We shall see, might just get the shody paint work tidyed up, get it lowered and re-ferb my wheels my self!

I paid £1200 for mine and then have spent around £200 on the slight body modifications, so £1400 to get to its current state.

How front end looks:

And now with refurbed wheels:

Will be cheaper in the long run to save for the Sport.

you'd regret spending the money on the 1.2 when you have to wait longer to get a Sport.

Price up the insurance before you do the maths.

Spend as little as possible if you are changing the car.

not if u insure it as a 1600 cause thats what ive done. still a 1400 on log book but had an engine change to 1600 with insurance. so still leagal but cheaper than insuring a 1600. egg.com class it as an engine mod

but you still are illegal, as you do not pay the correct road tax.

Just get it changed, at the MOT its the wrong engine, you fail.

End of.
