Apparently it's a blocked tear duct or something on your eyelid? My right upper eyelid is really sore, hurts every time I blink and it's annoying the hell out of me... any suggestions for stopping it short of cutting my eyelid off?

i shot myself in the eye once with a .177 air rifle. That hurt like a bastid.

badly scratched my eye (it didnt hit my eye, it hit my eyebrow and fragments went into my eye) 5mm down and it would have blinded me

This is flourettes to check for dry eyes and scratches on the cornea makes your eyes look mad under UV lights

If you suspect your getting sty (conjunctivitus) keep putting eye wash (from most pharmacists) in your eye every hour or so and if it perseveers go to A&E and they will prescribe you something.

Just count yourself lucky you havent got clamidia conjuntivitus

Cheers people, been bathing it regularly with clean cold water, and the head seems to have gone off it, not hurting like yesterday now, so hopefully it's on its way out!

Jesus dont ever use water

Water contains contiaminants and mircrobes that can cause more infection!!

We had a real bad case at work where this woman was using water rather than cntact lense solution to store her lenses in, she got an eye infection and now is blind

Use proper eye wash solution

Just get some proper solution from now its just the fact your eyes are prolly already infected so you dont want to make it worse.
