i think it may be a start if you advertise in the local paper or shop windows??
also the planning of the advert would be important
sounds like a plan though!!

Someone I know would be better for obvious reasons.
I've asked about and dont know anyone I know.
Not keen on the idea at all of a stranger living here temporary but if needs must an all that.
Thats why I thought a professional or commuter may respect the place more and be more reliable.
A gay bloke for a female is the best type of lodger apparently

Is that so he don't try to "catch up on the rent" at 3.30am? I'd be careful on that score, cos you still have an ass hole! Desperate times, call for.....

Word of mouth too Cos that way you will be living with someone who is indirectly a stranger to you in the first instance, but who someone that you already know can vouch for etc. I wouldn't live with a complete stranger IMO cos mainly for the fact that you know absolutely nothing about them etc and may have to go through the whole rigmarole of getting locks put on the bedroom doors etc (assuming you're not going to just trust them with everything completely if that makes sence). That's one reason amongst others that put me off renting out my spare room... Good luck finding someone though, and at least you can have fun interviewing potential candidates

Cheers bud but I'd have to pay to register
It may be money well spent but I've just put a search in for Wakefield and nothing came up!
