Hello,

I have just had a major warrantee repair done on the cooper s.. this involved a faulty oil warning light and an oil leak(not good)

I got the car back wednesday and noticed the steering felt a little heavy.

When I started the car today I basically can not turn the streering wheel, it wont shift unless you use both hands and then it just about moves. I obviously dont wont to force it.

The car is under warrantee so before I phone BMW to come and get it I just wondered if anyone had any idea what might have gone wrong on it. Im assuming the power steering has failed, but dont know anything about power steering systems. The whole engine was taken out as part of a major repair last week so I am assuming BMW have done something to cause this fault.

Any ideas?

Electric steering on the minis, so maybe a trapped wire or faulty motor..
