Milton Keynes to Newcastle - 237 miles, about 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Took me 6 hours once, stupidly busy bank holiday weekend.

Not true mate.

Very easy going on long trips is the vx, cruises lovely at 70, and you return 35mpg+

Trouble is that I dont do motorways in it (shite rear visability) and i prefer A & B roads in it anyway.

My problem is driving more that 3 hours in ANY car. I get to the destination and im sooo fckued I want to go to sleep

Ah ok, my bad. Just assumed it'd be uncomfortable or something.

35mpg isnt bad either, I get upto 40mpg on motorways in the Ibiza.
