Bad news Jim. Airfix and Humbrol at the moment arent around. The french company that was the mother company of airfix and humbrol got into money trouble, folded and took humbrol and airfix with them

Im based down at RAF Odiham, home of the Chinook and every so often we get a fleet of the Apaches down here to to excerices, seeing the inside of these choppers and seeing what they actually do up close is unreal, such an awesome bit of kit, the trainning is immense for the pilots, they struggle to find pilots that meet the grade to fly the things

Flares and chaff, flares disrupt heat seeking missile guidance systems, chaff does a similar thing with radar/laser guided weapons.

always liked these, hellfire old technology now but when they first came into use

67 is quite a few, had no idea the army had that many they certainly aernt cheap. Maybe thats why our infantry havent got proper kit ffs.

I know I know, I was elaborating on the separate roles of chaff and flares, wouldn't dream of chellenging your knowledge of weaponry.
