right, just got a letter about my accident back in march, and looks as though it may be going to court now. just recieved a letter off solicitor, and i have to right a full, written statement regarding pain, drugs taken, limitations, etc etc etc, firstly for the first 7 days after the accident, then a weekly 'diary', then monthly after that.
In bold writing he has put something along the lines of the more detailed the account is, more money i should get.
Any one know any 'special' words etc that emphasise what im saying, e.g any solicitors on here who can hint me how to phrase things in a certain way to sound 'better'

you should get a letter from the doctor detailing the injuries you sustained, how they can cause pain and suffering, what type of pain and the possible future implications of the injuries.

then send that to your solicitior and he should write it up to sound 'good'

3 years ago i was in a bad car crash, because of someone involved i wasnt able to get medical help (even though i could barely move/breathe). i was in alot of pain for months after and very limited in movements etc. was about 2 hours after the accident that i went to seek medical help as my injurys hadnt improved. after many xrays etc, i found out that the two top vertabrea had been cracked slightly (ill see if i can find xray and post it up, looks proper freaky!), also had minor nerve damage and quite bad muscle damage around my back and ribs. i started gettin treatment for this, physio, drugs etc, but was warned i may have to have an operation to fix some things.
then back in march i was in accident. went to docs the next day, and obviously the impact had made my existing injuries alot worse. did suffer whiplash etc, but also the muscles around my neck/shoulder etc were further injured. i obviously had doctors records that i had seeked treatment, phsyio, more pain killers etc every couple of weeks for the few month leading up to my accident in march, making it difficult for them to calculate how much of my injury was caused in march. if that makes sense. im looking at getting about £4k i was told couple month ago, but after speaking to solicitor the other day, he says it could be more due to the fact that the other party is dragging it out so long

Did you know, if you say it affected your sex life, this adds quite a bit.
