A guy at my work has a set of 17" Team Dynamic multi spoke alloys, just been fully rubbed down and ready for painting, with a set of part worn tyres, he said he wants to sell them.

Only thing is, on 2 of them on the inside of the rim, each one has had a crack in, about an inch long, and been welded up, is this safe, or does it sound a little dodgy?

Cheers,
Andy

i would also like to know this, since it would save me looking for a new set of alloys/new single alloy

I had mine done & it was fine

Not dangerous, just keep your eye on the tyre pressures to avoid ruining your tyre

Reckon it would be better to stick the two damaged/repaired ones on the rear?

2 things.

1) its fine, dont worry.
2) if they were potentially dangerous (which they're not) they should be on the FRONT...
