I know there is the Corrado G60 and Polo G40, was the Golf Rallye supercharged?

was there/is there many others?

why did they stop doing it?

they stopped doing it because when the bearings wear slightly, the chargers rattle themselves apart, and Turbos were cheaper to use

Don't they have to have supercharger rebuilds around 60-100k???

no i had one that had 27 miles on it and it was already misfiring due to a fucked injector... the concept is sound, but unfortunately the build of teh engine leaves alot to be desired
