Would i need a rubbing compound after spraying something to take out the imperfections / orange peel?
Was sanded down between each coat of primer, paint and lacquer.

from the farecla website
Automotive > Rectification > G3 Regular Grade Paste > G3 - How to use >
By hand
Using a damp and clean cloth, rub G3 with firm pressure in straight backwards and forwards motions. Change direction on a regular basis to ensure even coverage.
Turn Cloth Over at regular intervals.
Buff to a high gloss with a Farécla Finishing Cloth.
