can you get a racey sound from a diesel? got a sports back box on at mo but dosent seam to make much of a roar

My mate has a big bore on his 306 D-Turbo, and sounds loud and deep when he boots it.

mine's a 1.3 corsa c , so a little smaller in engine size to the 1.9 d-turbo so any ideas on how to make it sound like it's got an engine ?

de-cat it, big bore,direct threw pipe, induction kit, open waste gate. I dont realy know bout diesels.

the 1.3 cdti has a straight through pipe anyway, and desiels arent loud at all

The 1.3 has a cat and it will always sound like a transit no matter what exhaust you put on it.
