right, im thinking of buying a mk4 golf gt tdi pd130 in the next couple of weeks.

the one im looking at is currently at 183bhp with 332lbft.

the car looks decent aswel, 18" deep dish, plently of smoothing, s3 leather etc....

question is, im worried i will get too bored of it too soon, i.e. too slow.
i'm coming from a c20let corsa.

obviously this will be much more comfy and luxurious etc but do you think its a bad move?

or should i go for an older more powerfull car instead? and risk the possible unreliability and getting pissed off with it all the time

Golf won't feel as raw, but that could also be a good thing.

nah, manchester is miles away

just it looks exactly like a car (wheels, colour) from my area, although it might be a 5 door thinking about it.

Quite tuneable, they respond well to re-maps and milltek exhausts, also good with new turbo's and bigger injectors(passat/transporter van donations) with a re-map to suit
