I just want to know which is better pound for pound:
Corsa SRi or
Corsa Gsi
which will be cheapest to runner but can be easly modified, with that engine to make it pretty quick.

if you going for a 2 litre conversion just get a cheap 1.0L
if you want one already done and nicely modified get the GSI

GSi was the ultimate Corsa and has the most power. It depends how much you want to spend on insurance. I can't see there being much in running costs.

Was thinking of the GSi but i have to run house and cant afford to run my Vectra Sri 140 so was thinking of down sizing but still what something with a bit of grunt.
The insurance has a £20 difference between the two corsa's

For 20 quid I would go for the GSi if you can find a nice one at similar money.
