u after an actual cig lighter or just a socket to power something?

There's an ignition switched live behind the radio on most looms, not sure what current its rated to though, maybe 15/20 amp?

Well i would need it to power up cables such as charger for ipod, electric car pump etc

u can buy sockets from ebay for about four quid. theyve got two wires, poss and earth, and away u go. I was ment to be sendin one to a lad off here for free but i forgot, a few times lol i bet he thinks im a cnut
