Right, I have a 1.6 Dial Set on my Corsa B and want to convert it like the VW coloured ones (Blue numbers and Red Lighted up Needle). There is reasons for this and will look mint when done! I won't say yet
I understand i could probably get blue leds behind dials but then the needle i want it glowing red... How could i do this... Any ideas? It must be lighting up red to make this plan work! There is always a way! I love customising!
Look forward to hear from your ideas.... Thanks peeps
Ollie
P.s. I do remember once clicking onto a UK web site whom dealt with German style Dials for Vauxhalls etc. And i think they do that sorta thing... does anyone know what i mean? if so, do you remember the link?

Dont know if its possible, due to the different types of needle used, the VW ones are clear perspex/plastic that stick out off the dials allowing the red light to glow through them. Where as vauxhall needles are quite flat and and you wouldnt be able to light them up.

Unscrew al your dash, take out the clocks unit, will be brown bulbs holders on the back of the dash, unscrew them, pull out the buld.
Buy some L.E.D. bulbs from this site -
www.ultraleds.com
Get a glue gun, coat the tip of the bubs (So its likes a frosty effect, because L.E.D's give directionsal light.
Piop everythin back into place - there ya go
