bought some smoked DEPO lights off another member on here, said they were pretty much brandnew,in pics they looked good etc.
he sent them to me 1st class recorded delivary and arrived today, the passenger side is fine but the box the drivers-side light came in was really soggy and damp, pulled the headlight out and theres a huge crack going down the middle of the light and some of the inside and case is actually broken off making them completely unusable!
I don't think it was the member's fault which means it was a retarded parcel force monkey dropping it or something ,so what do i do now?will i be able to claim compensation from parcel force as £70 is a lot of money to me to spend on nothing!how would i go about doing this?cheers

you shouldnt of accepted the box when they delivered it, or atleast opened it infront of the delivery guy so he could see the damage.
You might find it hard claiming now you have signed and accepted it.

now I have to claim and also the selelr (from here) can't be contacted to obtain the receipt in order to make the claim...

I'm not getting involved in another RM saga of a post, but either it was Recorded Delivery, or it was Parcelforce. One or the other. Not both.

AFAIK, according to my Dad, they dont have to deliver mail at a certain time. Aslong as its before the person is home, i think thats ok

we can deliver the mail upto 7 pm
postmen dont get allowed to start there round till all mail is in and sorted ussually about 8.30-9 at my branch
was it a postman who deliverd it?
was the parcle deliverd by parcleforce ? differant rules to royalmail and should be insured
was it specail delivery?
if no to both then there is no insurance on the parcle and no way to claim
even recorded isnot insured for damage or loss
