What is the differences between the Core pack and Premium? Is it just a HDD? is the HDD really needed??

Ive just asked this in another post

Premium you get 20GB HD + wireless controllers & headset.

You either need the HD or a £20 memory card to be able to save games.

I got my premium for £200, he had only used it a couple of times. Must've dropped lucky.
