I was coming home from a night shift, about 5.45am on firday morning, was riding 40ish, then went in2 a 60limit, so i sped up, untill a fox run out infront of me, i went right, so did the fox, and i also hit a center island, which chucked me off a kurb in the air.

How my bike ended up

Dam, hitting a fox of all things.....

However, although i feel gutted for you, lost your ass cheeks? How, wearing leathers??? Or jeans, in which case, sorry, no remorse for you im afriad. I cannot stress enough the importance of full clothing on any ride and any true biker will say the same. It does my f-ing nut in when i see people on 1000cc bikes wearing t shirts and jeans....... Whats skins burn rate, an 1/2 inch per second i think.. Not good having all good jackets, boots etc if you have don't bother with your lowers, no legs left to ride with....

As for bikers having accidents and going back to cars. Pah, tarts, you come off, you repair yourself and your bike, and you get back out there as soon as possible. I'd say do the same, but remember next time, £200 on a set of leathers or full material protective waterproofs, or no skin/legs left................

Good thing is, your ok, you sound in good moods, and it could have been a LOT worse (like going into a tree, or on-coming car etc.....)

Take it, learn from it, apply it for next time.

Rather than repairing it, i'd suggest just stripping it and selling all the parts.

But having refreshed the page, and reading that you was wearing jeans, you know for next time, don't cut corners, get the right kit, the FULL kit....

I ride into city every day, sometimes i wear my leathers, take my trousers to work in a rucksack. Only takes me 2 min to change (or even less time if you think your not putting trouser on when you get up, just your leather...)

Yeah i see what your sayin mate, i do have one peice leathers, akitio ones, but i only were them on track, or on a long ride. when im going to work i normally wear my trousers, just didnt on the way home, yeah i know, my mistake there, and ive learnt from that, by losing my bum cheeks... I would love to get back on a bike, but ive got other people to think about, and not myself....
