I go to the dentist every 6 months like your meant to. It used to cost about £5.?? for a normal routine check up. Anyway I went today, must have been in the chair for all of a minute, everything was fine etc..... Went to the reception bit to pay and she said it was £15.50 Fucking what!?! For just telling me all is fine!
I'm in the wrong profession.

My dentist has now gone private..
£30 for a scale and polish which i have done every 3 months.
Pay £10 a month which keeps you registered and covers you for 2 check ups a year..Everything else is extra

I think you should get a sonicare mav.
Cheaper in the long run and means you don't need to go to dentist every 3 months.

All checkup will be £15.50 on the NHS now. The charges changed back in April so you only pay one of 3 charges now. £15.50 for a checkup/scale/polish, then its 40 something if you need a filling or basic work or a fuck load if you need anything more.
Its a con if you ask me.
