They dont have jobs listed on their site, you have to contact them direct.

Aye, cant see how you'd need qualifications though.
Its a good time of year to start as all the part-time school/college kids would have gone bck to study

Qualifcations to work in Asda? The only qualifcation you need to work in there is to be of an ethnic minority.

pop down to local asda store and ask for an application form from the customer service desk, they will give you one there and then.

they are always looking for new pepople so doesnt matter when you apply.

and what do you base that comment on?

i work for ASDA and have done for the past 7 1/2 years

i have my shit days like anyone else but i wouldnt exactly call them a shite company to work for

like someone else pointed out, they have won dozens of awards for being a great employer.
youre statement is like saying - yeah michael schumacher may win races but he is obviously shite

Asda fix the in comapny surveys tbh to make them look good.

It all depends on your manager though.
If you have got a crap manager it's crap.
Good manager its not too bad.

Lot of people from my asda left to go to tesco but found out the grass isn't always greener.

now i would say that grocery is easier than chilled but thats just my honest opinion

never been involved with home and leisure or gm buti would think they have things that are easier than food, but also things that are more difficult

like any job. you only get out of it what you put in

Day/backshift in my store do nothing.
All of it is left to nightshift.

yes

however, and at the risk of sounding big-headed, i have worked every shift you can imagine and i know exactly what is expected of both day and night workers

problem is if the workers havent experienced both shifts, they find it easy to criticise.
both play important roles in the running of the business but in different ways. nights is 100% replenishment role, whereas in the days its more process based work

just my 2p worth not meaning to offend anyone

you nights then mate? what store you work in?
