I hav an Alpine MRV-T420, its 240w (bridged) RMS at 12V but it sez its 340w (bridged) RMS at 14.4V. How do i get 14.4V wen batteries are only 12V??

I would like to get as much power out of it as i can cos my sub is 500w RMS.

Cud sumone please explain cos this as confused me. Cheers!!!

the car system will be 14v whilst the engine is running as the altenator will output 14v

oh so wen the engine is off it runs at 12V n wen the engine is on its 14V. Thats totally cleared it up for me.
