right, I'm looking for a new car, I dont like my corsa, its not quick enough, cost too much to buy (i had to borrow the money, and i want to pay it back sooner)
so, i have a few choices, i know they're a bit random, but i want something quick, and these are all about the same to insure
if anyone has any better suggestions, let me know
i've also considered Impreza, Polo G40, Sierra Cosworth, 200SX, but they are all too expensive to insure, and the Fiesta and Escort are pushing the budget really.
i have about 5k to play with, including insurance, which is about 1200 on all but the escort and the fiesta, which were about 1800, so really, i have about 3500 to spend on a car, so i can give my mum some money back
cheers

Rob,
you have an expensive list there...
Do you know as much about them as about vauxhalls?
You could spend alot more doing them upo and doing it wrong then just sticking with what you know best???

none of the cars on the list are overly expensive Gaz, all within my budget and all of them are about 1200 ish to insure, which i'm willing to pay.
I wouldnt plan on modifying any of them too much, just a few bits, which is probably why a turbo wouldnt be as good as something else.
and i didnt know anything about Vauxhalls before i had a Corsa so moving to another manufacturer wouldnt be too much of a pain

if money is the issue which it clearly is then dont bother with the fix or repair dailys! In fact do you really want a turbo car? A powerful nasp would be cheaper to run and repair.

i dont know Ainsley, i just got insurance quotes for some cars which i like, and these came out as the cheaper ones.
I've always fancied a Corrado, but i'm not sure about reliability...

If you're worrying about reliability etc stick with the Corsa but if you want to regain my respect get the RST

but then u can say that bout everycar on the list, all the turbos can go bang and be expensive to repair, the corrado is again old and parts are hard to come by ppl keep sayin, the g60 again can be expensive when goes wrong
safe bet buy a new car with warrenty

yeah, you're right Nath, any of them are likely to be unreliable and all of them are old.
and the G60 is likely to break. lots.
i think really, its between the Starlet, the Pulsar, and the VR6

I changed my mind, get a FRST. Not much in them but they are really rare these days and can be nicely tuned and some look lush.
