Sorry guys that it isn't a corsa but thought I would put up progress of my first car - a renault 5! (I can hear use laughing frome here lol) Its only a 1.4 non turbo but I am only 16. Anyway heres the pics-

todays progress-

the plan is to strip it right down to a bare shell and respray it all (inside outside underneath arches etc) and powdercoat all the suspension components. Keeping the outside fairly subtle just delocking it and smoothing a few things then lowering it 60 mm on a set of black 15s. hope yous like.

Not entirely clear why you want to restore one of them but everyone must start somewhere, welcome.

i cant understand why anybody would say that they cant understand the choice of car.. remember this is CORSAsport and theres thousands of people out there who cant understand the choice of our cars... Anyway, renaults 5s were a big deal at a time and ium sure if he decides then he can get a r5gt turbo lump or clio 16v etc etc etc.. fair play, keep up the good work. looks likes its gonna be a class project... o and please fit the gtt kit to it, would look miles better...

Top work , and im glad youve chose a different car as the amount of young drivers who just pass there tests and then go out and buy a corsa is so high. i appreciate your choice of car and the good work so far.

That is super clean for the age, a friend of a friend did something similar with a Renault 5 campus and made it into a Turbo repica and he made it so mint it got the deserving 288bhp 1.4 turbo lump

Will try and dig some pics of it out Gets so many questions as to how he has an N reg 5 turbo

You CS likes Corsas, he likes r5s.

In reality theyre all buckets but can be made into something special.
