Turbo will be the UK 200odd bhp car
WRX import - 250bhp & few extras like aircon, better interior.
STi 280bhp with forged internals etc

I had the UK turbo with PPP & 3" downpipe - it was running around 250 - 260 bhp - pulled well & kept me smiling
Ive never drove a standard one!!

Imprezzas cost about £3million pounds a second to keep on the road though. You need to change the oil on them every 6 miles and need new spar plugs ever 7....

Phase 2 UK Turbo has 215bhp over the Phase 1's 208bhp thanks to inlet manifold mods, bigger intercooler and differant engine management. Has a smaller turbo though to combat lag. TD04 as opposed to the Phase 1's TD05. So the Phase 1 is probably better to tune.
Performance is 0-60 in 5.5sec 0-100 in around 15.5sec, which is quite decent. 60-100 in approx 10sec and will do the quarter in 14seconds.
I drove my brothers old standard UK car a few times and it went quite well, theres a definate flat spot before the turbo comes in at 3k. PPP'd cars come in at 2.5k.
A face lifted front end from 98, Phase 2 engine and interior/dash from 99.

Yeah because you've owned several & know 1st hand
Mine cost less to keep on the road than a Corsa - no jokes!!!!
Done over 100k on standard turbo & gearbox, had 2 clutches & a few coil/plug changes.
Servicing, mainly oil changes are paramount on this type of car, look after it & it will look after you.
