I went back to uni but came home again early on tuesday cos my dad said my gran was really ill. She's been in a nursing home for about 6 months but took a turn for the worst over the weekend and she passed away peacefully at 2:15 am today She was 93 though, so had a good life, and at least she isn't in pain any more.

So sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel, my great grandma died a couple of years ago, she was of a similar age.
