SBD do a kit called the TP164, which gives you 164bhp on a C16XE GSi.
not sure about the prices, but SBD aren't cheap.

bhp depends on cam spec/rev limit etc... not just x and y.
160+ is likely on a basic mild setup though.
200+ on a bonkers 9000rpm build.
SBD can do complete kits, but are quite costly.

if you are spending that much on getting air into the engine then you should also consider spending a bit on an exhaust manifold and system

SBD are stupidly expensive!
I can do a full set fitted, mapped and better than the SBD kit for around £2500.
dont believe the 164bhp claim either. most see 140-150 bhp, a thread on migweb a while back about sbd's power claims, its hilarious.

a lot
Milled pistons or new psitons
metal headgasket
uprated valve springs/caps/seats
280'ish degree cams
ECU
verniers
TB's
ARP rob bolts
alu rollers
TB's
Fuel Reg
most of that can be bought in SBD kit though

140-150 is what would be expected from an exhaust and tb's on a standard engine.
whats the rev limit stu?
(and any more progress with the cheque? )
