nope the 1.6 se turbo front wheel drive one 1992 ish before the s2 model, they are still hitting 10kish

by proper i meant the original 60s thing

the 90s ones are 165bhp, 1.6 Turbo (good engines) 137mph, 1.9 - 60

Evo reckon its in the 15 best handling FWD cars EVER.

yeah the sprint thing or something. thats what i was talking about.

question is do i spend that much on that car or get something else?

only group 16 too so not too bad, the usual list of common faults but parts are cheap

MX5 is a much better car than the Elan, but like you say, far more common.
