even with cams, remap, mantzel, headwork, de-cat..... mine didnt pop and bang.
it does now with bigger cams, throttle bodies etc but thats because I have a missfire at 2k rpm when the engine is coasting down the revs, think its because ive been playing with my fuel cut off settigs at closed throttle.

WTF would you want to do that for.
If you want pops and bangs, get a cossy with anti lag.

It won't. Engines don't do that anymore because they are fuel injected. If it was on carbs it would piss fire out of the exhaust. If it's on standalone management it would probably pop a few flames too. Some turbo charged engines spit flames out when they are tuned up too.

pump the throttle slowly when car is off about 10 times slowly, then hold down the throttle and start up at the same time, you might get a few pops and bangs when you do this

with the engine off, all that pressing the throttle does is open and close the throttle body. nothing else.
on old carb engines this used to work as it would allow fuel to get into the cylinder which would make it pop a lot on start-up.
