Leaving 1st November Heathrow-Hong Kong-Auckland then to the Cook Is. next May for a few months, back to NZ then Malaysia-Thailand-Laos maybe Australia for a break then maybe India on the way home in summer 2008.

Cuba's ace! Brazil is alright, but I would say that, USA I would give a wide birth, if I wanted to meet power crazy freaks I'd have gone to visit the in-laws.

Im not loaded at all, I have to work hard for years to save up enough money to go away for a while. When I do go away I do everything on a budget and spend lots of time on beaches and trekking to save money.

Well, im going to do a bit of farm work while im out there, they dont pay you but it will be great outdoors and you only really do around 5 hours work, could be driving quads round herding or driving tractors in the fields. They give you all your meals and a bed too so it saves you money.
All in all im not expecting to spend more than 8k and for 18 months of fantastic adventure its not too bad is it
