What the hell, just a minute ago i went outside to spray my throttle body on the pug and i noticed a paramedic down at the end of the drive. I went to inspect and around the corner was loads of cop cars. Looked at why they were and the guy down the road tried to kill him self by turning on all his motorbikes and closing the garage. Luckily somebody mowing the lawn heard a shout from his wife and broke open the garage.
Messed up thing is, I talk to this guy like everyday and hes such a decent guy. I just cant believe it.

Thing is, the reason he wanted to kill himself is because he had a brain hemerage and ever since hes been in alot of pain. Thing is doctors cant do much more for him.
Listerning to the streets gossip, he wanted to kill himself because he couldnt handle another day with the pain, he couldnt sleep at night it was that bad.

No doubt he'll have another go if he is in a stable frame of mind ( Ie not put in mental institute for few weeks)

im not sure, i dont think he will be put in a mental institute as he kinda has a reason why. Its not like hes mental. Hes one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I think he will be back home soon, probably depends on how long the hospital keep him in for.

i beleive he is on medication but i think the doctors cant prescribe anymore - probably cause more danger to his health.
Thing is, the pain wont ever stop, even with pain killers he will still have it.

a few years ago my next door but one neighbour hung himself in his garage because he found out he had cancer. he was banging about in his garage all day making something to do it with.
i had to go to the inquest as i was the last one to see him peeping round his gate.
i don't know what goes through peoples minds to do such a thing, they must be pretty low to be in that place.

You can reach rock bottom, it takes one hell of a build up thou, people who decide to end their lives will think about it every day for a while.
Its hard to imagine the pain you can be in untill you experience it yourself, at least now people know how bad he is and will get the help he needs
Reedy if u speak to him everyday then let him know your there, and just chat to him as normally as you can.
He may be sectioned under the mental health act and kept inside for days/weeks/months after hes had his assesment

Nice thought Reedy.
Having some support from the people around you can make all the difference when it comes to a situation like this.
