is there much difference in volume between a pair of 400W and 500W 6x9's. cant decide wot 2 get

dont waste you money on 6x9s there as much use as a power cap !!!!
get some decent comps up front amped swap the rear speakers in 1/4 trims for coaxails and run them off the head unit and get a decent sub or to in the boot running offf a mono block amp

enit 6'9s are a bag of dog poo dont bother wastein ya money they dont do no favours. he means speaker componants my car is rigged wiv a vibe set up not a massive 1 but i got a set of tweeters in the front wiv 2 vibe kevlar door speakers, 2 13cm speakers in the bk hooked up too a 400w baby amp, 2 1000w 10'' vibes in the boot hooked up too a standard vibe black box amp...... take the parcel shelf out and ya music sounds fukin pucker i did hav 6'9s but theyd always distort wen i blasted it now neva get tht

although I don't understand half of what bizzle is saying the rest, I think he's right. You're better to get comps in the doors etc and have an all round better system than just going for 6x9's as you want get half the quality that you could.
