I'm curious, as the Post Office Website is not fuctioning properly - can i still stick an exelope with a "reply slip" in the post by just putting a 1st class stamp on it and of course the address or do I HAVE TO go to a post office to get it weighed etc?

You'll be fine if its only a simple letter. Make sure the envelope is A5 or smaller though (i.e. A4 folded in half). 1st class stamp will cover up to 100g or so.

1st class stamp was upto 60g, not sure now cos they changed it all
