tonight i will be wiring and installing a stereo, sub amp, speakers headunit etc 
not in my car tho 
lad that lives up the road, he was gonna fit a sub and just leave the rest of the stuff standard i told him it would sound shit so selling him some of my old stuff

i want subs and boot build..
Contacted ktsri thats does them, (classified > Parts..) see how much 1 of them costs.
Then gotta find the subs and amps and powercaps..

i got three wires in, then gave up and smoked alot 
thought i'd blown his headunit up but it was just a fuse

So you managed 3 wires and thats it
Guessing you didn't disconnect the battery if you blew a fuse

i disconnected battery, but once i reconnected it i noticed HU needing pushing back in
so just pushed it, and the lad who had fitted it before had left bare live wires hanging out and wrapped a tiny bit of normal sellotape around them, which fell off and shorted out

got the power from bonnet to boot, a remote, RCA's....................infact its was only 3
