Last night (Friday) we did a little bit of work to get it more complete for the rolling road day today (Saturday)

Manifold has been bolted on, which was a massive ballache as each pipe is about 18 feet in diameter, we had to jack the front of the car right up in the air, remove the rad, oil cooler and bumper, and even then it was a struggle.

Then Broster bolted his luminous yellow strut brace on

While he was doing that, I made another awesome bracket for the FPR

and Mark piped it all up using Earl's pipes and fittings

Then, as we'd moved it forward a few feet, I got some pics of the 'boot' floor

Which, incidentally, has some more of my awesome brackets in it. Funny that...

This was the last pic I took, best pic of the lot?

Then I had 17 beers and drove home at 140mph.

will more than likely buy a fuel pump mount, similar to the fire ext bracket, make life easier, just the oil tank one to sort really.

want to get it all piped up then do the wiring last of all when everything else is there, easier to route wires than pipes. finished modifying the cam belt tensioner this am, and secured the fuel line in the engine bay properly,

items left to buy:
swirl pot
header tank
carbon floor trays

thats it really, should have everything else here for it. getting exciting

swirl pots keep a constant supply of fuel to the fuel tank, if i went round a corner and all the fuel swooshed away from the pump pick up the engine would run out of fuel, where as the swirl pot sits between the main tank and the main pump, and keeps the fuel supply constant

basically

wiring isnt in yet, but when it is it will be hard to spot the very minimul wires that will be fitted, however i wont be running them thru impossible to get to places, if i have a fault i want to be able to see/fix it without stripping the car down

Some pics of the underside.

Fitted the brake bias adjuster.

Also, there's a list of stuff which still needs doing... it currently is 3 A4 pages long, with more to add as and when we see it

Broster has been playing with his rocker cover too.....
